When the sun shines

they'd really rather be outside in it, even if its chilly.
What the heck, why NOT have school on the porch, eh?

  1. Mr. Fab: You are so fastidious; D

    School outside is the best.

  2. Wow, I like Mr Fabs idea, no worrying about the lid being left up!

Logo, that reminds me of the time I took the ferry from Alaska to Kodiak Island, and I wondered why noone chose to sleep out on the deck like me....erm..that is...until we started sailing....and it became about 2 degrees... but it was sunny!!

    Outdoor school rocks!

  3. Ahh takes me back to studying outdoors on the lawn outside the tower of UT in Austin :) It's beautiful there in the fall and spring..

  4. Great idea! This gives whole new credibility to "The dog ate my homework." In fact I suspect "The squirrel ate my homework" will be making inroads on the old excuse before long.

Now if I can just convince my boss to let me work outside then I'd be set too.

  12. Cute picture. School (or work) outside rules.

And Mr. Fabulous' comment made me almost spit water. Because I was kind of thinking the same thing. Sometimes I wish I could just pee anywhere.

  13. Mr Fab~ I have standards, dammit, even if they want to pee outside they are not allowed to do it that close to the house! :p

Goldennib~ They seem to like it, and fastidious is a new modifier for Mr. Fab, not heard that before.

Susie~ They have to at least go out to the woods, its the RULZ, dang it! The Things like outside school too.

    Damasta~ Good times, good times

TK~ She will approve of your saying so.

Joe~ The bummer of having mom as a teacher is that she knows if you actually DID the work. Ariella has been known to chew a paper or two in her day but that excuse has never really come in handy. Those squirrels though, that is possible, they are presumptuous little buggers.

Cindra ~ That is what I keep telling them!

Breazy~ Build on, sister. Warm and sunny is also VERY acceptable.

Snavy~ That sounds heavenly, I always loved it when classes were outside too.

    Lime~ Oh yeah, me too

BS~ Work on that, I'm sure it would be better for you, you know, cut down on health insurance costs or something.

Claire~ That is Thing One, Thing the elder, almost 11 and he agrees with you, outside school ROCKS.

Blue~ They are absolutely priceless, and its so nice to have pictures for when those moments seem far away.

Annie~ Oh yes, I do too.

    Arm~ Don't encourage him :p
I actually made the Things go inside to use the facilities, I am a spoiler of all fun, well, you know, a mom.

  14. When I'm outside on my deck, I like to whiz between the board spaces. Takes concentration, but it can be done. And if you miss, so what?

God I love living alone. Sometimes.
