ReplyDeleteNo, we have not forgotten.
indeed we have not...
ReplyDeleteI had dinner with my grandfather who server for the US Army during WWII and Korea, if it wasn't for the folks that have served our country things would not be as great as they are today. God Bless 'em all.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder ... war is very, very brutal. And I am very thankful that all these people, who are leaving their homes and families, are over there sacrificing their lives at the call of their country.
ReplyDeleteSelfless people they are. My prayers and my thanks are sent daily.
ReplyDeleteGreat post!

ReplyDeletecheers Ms Logo!
ReplyDeleteWell Done.
ReplyDeleteAnd when you consider how many fewer people lived in the U.S. at, say, the time of the Civil War, it's really almost unimaginable.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately we Americans forget easily and only remember when we are directly affected.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog! I will be back for more. -0-0-
I wonder how many lives have been ruined versus saved were a result of the War on Drugs. That would be an interesting tally.
ReplyDeleteThis post moved me, actually.
Yet not a single word about how many perished, during those respective time spans, on motorcycles. Conspiracy.
