How many times a week is too many?

Frankly, in my opinion, having to do it more than once a week is far too taxing.

  8. Grunty~ Oh I know! Hand me that lemonade so I can put it in the cupholder would you, boy?

Seamus~ Oh, once is week is not NEARLY often enough for my favorite activity to stay busy away from the mower, wink wink

Arm~ Grunt is a funny man, and Mr. Arm is correct

Brookem~ It is pretty much the ONLY way to do lawnwork.

Em~ With the vaca we took we let it go almost three weeks. Mr. Logo was developing a twitch from looking at that.

Furiousball~ I was having so much trouble getting to your blog! Glad you got that all taken care of, whew, I was jonesin. Yes, that Seamus is a genius, and a smartass, its a great combo.

Lime~ S'ok honey, I don't bake 97 dozen cookies EVER, we all have our areas of expertise.

  9. Well, if you have THAT thing, then who cares?

With a push mower...once a week is plenty!

All these lawns are just pastoral ideals anyway...not natural! And the water involved...sheesh! WWIII will be over water...I swear...

    Okay, I'm going now.

  10. It's having to phone the grass afterwards that really gets tiresome.

  11. Perhaps if you got a mower to hook up to your bike...

  12. It's been over 7 months for me.

Oh! You meant mowing the lawn.

    Sorry...

  13. I don't know Lo, I would have to disagree. I happen to rather like having my lawn mowed. If ya know what I mean....

  15. Once a week...I don´t have something I can sit on though, mine I have to push forward with sincerity before it moves.

  16. Yeah, I totally have to agree with Grunt. Pity poor you, having to drive a lawnmower around more than once a week. Life is hell.

Hey, while you're at it, my grass is getting rather scraggly ... you could just drive your mower over to my house.

  17. Are we really talking about mowing the lawn here, or something else? Hmmm....

  18. I just hate you for having 1/4" long grass.......

Drive it down here already n help me!!!!!

And I know once a week aint gonna cut it for you.

  19. I live in a condo so the association pays a lawn company to come out once a week and cut all the grass. :P

Just be glad you have a riding mower though, when I was a boy I had to use the push mower on my parents big lawn for allowance moneys. I watched as other boys in the neighborhood drove their riding ones around with such jealousy, and much sweating. Hah!

  20. But on a machine like that, you could do many, many other things, right? Like, um a crossword puzzles?

    And stuff.

  21. And expensive when gas is this high!

But I make Mollusc do it now. And she likes it, so we both win. ^_^

  22. That's been one good thing about the drought this summer, from Dr. Weirsdo's point of view.

    You were tagged, btw.

  23. Chikken~ We don't water, we say its conservation but we just look forward to the break from mowing once it all dies.

Doug~ I can understand that, being the kind of gal I am I wait to see if the grass will call me.

Goldennib~ What?? Don't make my baby a beast of burden!!

Gawpo~ Damn, man! I will just stop right there, but...DAMN!

Blue~ Oh, I hear ya, you can never have your lawn mowed too much, its just the lawn mowing that gets old.

Arm~ They are out of control, sorry, can I get you something? Smelling salts, perhaps?

Minka~ I only like to push people around myself :p

Dorky Dad~ OK, FINE, but its takes HOURS, with a rider, that is more lawn than anyone needs ok, way more!

Egan~ You are so good at picking up on those innuendo!

Susie~ I would drive it down there but that would take a really, really long time. And uh, yeah, you know it. When it comes to mowing the lawn once a week won't cut it.

BS~ As a kid we just had a little city sized yard. Using a push mower on that was no sweat. Now we have 2 1/2 acres, there is NO WAY I am using a push mower! Condo yard though, mmmmm, I LIKE that idea!

Claire~ It's a mixed blessing but I see the upside.

Jocelyn~ I determined the reading doesn't really work, but I tried it, I really did.

Candace~ Oh yes, Thing One is learning how and taking over from time to time but he sometimes lacks due caution. He flattened my tired on a tree stump :|

Weirsdo~ Oh yes, once it burns off the need for mowing slacks right off. I will do that tag this week!

Mr. Fab~ WTF? Are you from Florida or something?? Oh wait...

  24. My wife gives me crud about the lawn too. I don't even have the nice set up you do. I walk mine, and it's hot! I don't get it.
    Nice yard and mower!!

  25. Wreckless~ The lawn mowing is my job 99.9% of the time, I was giving Mother Nature crap about how fast it's growing lately. Mr. Logo only did it this last weekend because my sis was here from out of town and I was off flittering around to family graduation parties and such. Here it is not too hot but I don't even want to imagine how long it would take with a push mower, its about three hours on a rider!
