Stuff

Did I mention the Things won their pinewood derby contests? Thing One got first in design for his age and Thing Two got second in design for his. Yay!

Next you see a little treasure that somehow ended up in the kitchen window sill. It's a lollipop stick one of my Things left there for reasons that defy understanding. Mr. Logo was bothered enough to mention it but not enough to pick it up himself.

NOW to the good stuff :D
I bought a pen, its a really lovely feeling pen that loves me and I love it. We are very happy together, thank you.

Next we have a Build Your Own Stonehenge kit I purchased in Seattle this weekend.
I love it as well.
I bought this for Mr. Logo while we were at Archie McPhee's . This is Bob.
Mr. Logo got to decorate the office himself and took it to work today. His coworkers are quite jealous.
I also bought him an apron, can you dig it?
Thing One got a chicken chucker.
Thing Two got a Chuck a Duck. They both seem to like them.
While we are talking about stuff we like...
These two items are very popular with me right now.
One is a kumquat-lime hand lotion and the other
is Altoid dark chocolate covered cinnamon mints.
Mmmmm, yummy stuff that makes life a little more better.

Late breaking realization, OMG!

I totally forgot it's Ariella's birthday!

In honor of the special occasion we are giving her the day off,
again,
still,
more.
And in keeping with blog tradition, for her online birthday gift here is the man of her dreams, her heart throb,
The Golden Boy.

oooooooooooh!! I dig the apron. Must find one of those for hubby.

The lollipop stick story cracks me up. That would totally happen in my house.

AND....yay on the awards. WOOOHOOOO!

On a totally unrelated note, I thought of your kids at the mall this weekend when we saw two children with shirts that said "Thing One" and "Thing Two."

i am sure mr logo will look darling in his pink apron.

i am quite fond of the dark chocolate peppermint altoids. they are so very yummy.

i also have an ancient mechanical pencil sharpener that i quite love. it was my grandmother's. it's ooooooold, but it works better than any other pencil sharpener i have ever used. since we are discussing things we really like....

I think a mini cubicle with a Bob would fit in nicely on my desk with my Gollum, Will Turner action figure, and Ugly Doll.

I love the dark chocolate peppermint altoids, too. Well, I love anything dark chocolate, really.

I'm not going to comment about the pen, for I have an unhealthy addiction to writing utensils.

Did you get some dwarves to dance around Stone Henge?

The secret to a fast pinewood derby car is Pledge sprayed on the wheels, as I recall.

Happy belated birthday to Ariella from Rey & I.

We have incidents much like the lollipop one all the time.

There's a Skittle stuck to the floor? You don't say? Here, let ME get it.

First, Mr Logo wishes a Happy B-day to his daughter Ariella. Next, Mr Logo would like to challenge the remark about the lollipop stick. Logo makes it seem as Mr Logo is a slouch when it comes to tidy. I say NAY NAY! It, like a pencil in the previous post, had been there for days. He frequently and often goes around behind family members and picks up their trash whether it be on the floor, table or in the yard. It's wearisome. Mr Logo feels the family should learn to assist with tidy and not just walk by. Leaving the lolli stick was a test (much like the pencil) to see when / who might finally address it. AND MIGHT I SAY...it would have continued to go unaddressed if Mr Logo hadn't mentioned it. HA! Peace out.
