Cleaned my sewing cabinet, made a dress, broke my toe while being chased by Gupta through the house.

Happy Easter ma'am!

Sounds like some very nice down time! You should ride Red Molly down to Tejas and we'd show you the "pollen"!

I'm reading, too! :) And will probably be sewing. I just finished "Improbable" by Adam Fawer and "The Simple Truth" by David Baldacci. (both very good) and I'm reading Inkheart now cuz my kids wanted me to. And The Hobbit to the kids, and Swallows and Amazons (again) to the kids. And listening to Guardians of Gaho'ole (sp?)

I went on a bit of a Jane Austen kick, too, and watched Becoming Jane, The Jane Austen Book Club (both a great book AND movie!) and Sense and Sensibility. Emma is waiting in the wings, and probably Persuasion next.

I'm playing Easter gigs. At least I didn't get told I was going to Hell this year.
Happy spring.

That was Mrs. Weirsdo, of course.
I'm just enjoying my Julia-free postmarital bliss.

I have been trying for two weeks to finish one book so I can start the latest in the series but with my friends husband passing away I have spent a lot of time away from home so I have had no reading time until today and before the night is out I am finishing that book.

Our kids went back to school from spring break yesterday.

Have a good week!
