It's Monday

let's be musical for a moment. Here is a song I quite like:

That I would be good even if I did nothing

That I would be good even if I got the thumbs down

That I would be good if I got and stayed sick

That I would be good even if I gained ten pounds

That I would be fine even even if I went bankrupt

That I would be good if I lost my hair and my youth

That I would be great if I was no longer queen

That I would be grand if I was not all knowing

That I would be loved even when I numb myself

That I would be good even when I am overwhelmed

That I would be loved even when I was fuming

That I would be good even if I was clingy

That I would be good even if I lost sanity

That I would be good

Whether with or without you

Now then, this last weekend Mr. Logo and Thing One went off together into the sunset and had a great time together in Eastern WA. Thing Two and I played video games, watched movies, visited book stores and tea shops, playgrounds and generally ran amuck. Also, a friend came by Saturday night and brought hazelnuts he had picked himself. We made a yummy pie and watched MORE movies. Sunday we scampered around with only an hour or so to spare and got the place looking all shipshape for the homecoming.
Oh, and by the way, is it just me that thinks having to break out the lawn mower in October is just wrong? I think I mentioned this last year (hate to be repetitive) but look,
mowing fall leaves just seems WRONG!
Alright, the Esteemed Elder Sister is in town and I'm off to meet her at the mall. Yes, that's right, the mall, because I truly love her.
Have a lovely day!

All I can say
with a note of dismay

is that song didn't rhyme
any of the time

Dr. Suess and I are quite dismayed
we couldn't edit before it was made

We dont have a lawn in the winter and fall...that saves a lot of work....

What do we have then? I dont know, but the deer sure like it.

Thats a great Alanis song, I love her flute at the end. I saw her perform it on....that guy on tv with the big black round table....and she whipped out the flute at the end...was so cool....

:P

It was almost 90 here yesterday. We'll have falling leaves and green grass at the same time.
