We went down to Portland for a little motorcycle thing. It was great weather and good fun.
One of my bike trip rules (in addition to stopping every hour or so for stretching and caffeine, and regular candy and gum at gas stops) is that hotels should have pools so there is a good way of working off all the pent up energy The Things thoroughly approve of this rule.
Family time is a good thing.
Family time is a good thing.
P.S. I know I haven't been a great blog buddy, but it's not tht I don't love you all, I really, really do, lots and lots. I'm just busier than a body oughta be and trying to get it all done.

Great rule. I like your rules. Slow down.
motorcycles and pools...hey, works for me!
We had the same rule growing up! There MUST BE a pool. Period.
Looks like fun!!!!
We never got to stay in hotels and besides my mom couldnt swim which meant neither could we :|
She still can't swim, and what do you know, I haven't drowned yet!
Hey, you were in my hood!
you know, evil knevil would jump over that pool and then probably crash into some chairs or something
After suffering more than my fair share of fanny fatigue (self imposed I'm ashamed to say) I whole-heartedly agree with your rules of air out, zizz up, sugar down and get soaked! :)
Glad you had an awesome getaway! Your family should always come before the blogbuddies.
Looks like you know how to have a good time.
Okay. I just got a window that popped up when I went to publish my comment that just got lost and it said it was a server error and to try again in 30 seconds and it couldn't complete my request and I have never seen that before.
But my comment was: I love it when a blogger apologizes to their other bloggers about not blogging enough because it makes the other bloggers feel not so bad about not blogging enough.
Basta!
I am going to copy this before it gets lost again.
Ok. I lost the comment again three more times! But luckily, I copied it.
Are you not just so proud of me?
And my verifica parola was: icepocus
Cool, huh?
LOgo, I highly approve of swimming pools myself. Some beautiful eye-candy often resides there. We got a four wheel now, to chase after our horses :) needless to say, I am on the four wheel even if there are no horses in sight!
The Things are really growing up. Thing one looks very Mod in his bike outfit.

I understand the busy thing ...
I also understand the short trip thing. I love short quick vacation-type trips. You spend just long enough in a place to love it, but not too long to get bored.
You love me most, though, doncha? doncha?
Doncha?
I'm glad to hear you apologizing for not being a great blog buddy, because I was just feeling guilty for not stopping by here in like forever. Anyway, I forgive you.
I've been a bad blog buddy, too. Could it be the whole kicking in of another hsing year? I feel busy, but not frazzled. I just don't have as much time in each day anymore. Maybe we should be concerned about Time Shrinkage. It seems to be a global thing. :-P
PS, the Things look great on the bikes.
Awww!!
Don't worry. Life gets in my freakin' way all the time. :)

Our family adheres to a similar rule. If we end up in one with no pool, the kids end up running around the parking lot like maniacs.
You good blog buddy. You very good.
