Snow!

It snowed here, how fun is that?

In the manner of western WA snowfalls it snowed for hours and we had a whole inch when it was finished.

Here is Thing One attempting to make a snowman.

Here is the second, and more successful, attempt. Here is Thing Two trying to decide whether to throw this snow ball or eat it, when you only have this much snow you have to weigh these choices carefully.
Here is a graham cracker house designed and constructed by the Things without any assistance or even supervision (the AF was sorting bookshelves in the children's rooms). The mess was actually more impressive than the structure but this photo occurred after the clean up.
Lastly, but most annoyingly, we have TWO deer trying to sneak around in my yard under cover of snow, but I still saw them, they can't get past me.

All those deer! What's next? Wild rabbits?

Enjoy your snow - we're comfortable with our 75 degree weather here. :)

I think the graham cracker house wins the edibility factor over the snowball. :)

Mrs. Weirsdo~Thing One and Thing Two were ecstatic, the once a year snowfall we get around here is not enough to make them jaded.

Fred~The rabbits are not nearly so bothersome, they know their place. The AF lived in Florida for 4 months and refers to it as "The armpit of the nation, humid and sweaty." Present company excepted, I'm sure.

Sar~That depends on whether you prefer sugar coma or the extra fibre from the leaves in your diet. Not much contest as far as I can tell!

I think the snowman is cute. Actually it is amazing that the thing managed to make it at all. The ground is barely covered with snow! Thumbs up...

Great pictures. We have snow here as well but it's too cold now to make snowmen with it..

Those are great pictures. We had a skiff of snow also, but by the time we got out to play in it, most was melted.

LOL, that's not snow! We get that in August (well, maybe not August, but we've had that much at the end of September) Send the Things over here and they can make as many snowmen as they want, and still have enough left over to eat :)

Monika~ He has a fine future as an engineer, or an artist, or fryboy at McDonald's or something.

Happy and blue~ Nanuk, we feel so sorry for you all up there.

Schnoodlepooh~ That is the way of western WA snow, thank goodness!

Snav~ We will come for the boys, or to hang with you, but not for the snow, burrrrrrr!

Lime~Time to head to Trinidad!

Julia~We will just enjoy it from your pics...which is not to say that packing up the Things and mailing them to you doesn't sound attractive.
