Happy Hump Day!!

I can, and have, been accused of a wide variety of faults.
But, I have great taste in friends.
Today a package arrived from one of my friends, Lime.

Two books I've been wanting and some tea, from China.
I couldn't want to try some,
so I pulled out my little Chinese tea pot.

But there were two different teas,
and I wanted to try them side by side.
So...
at the risk of being somewhat irreverent in matters of tea and culture,
I brought out my little Japanese teapot too.
To tell you the truth. I actually prefer the Japanese pot. It has a filter.
But shhhh, we won't discuss that while Chinese tea is being served.
So I read ridiculously funny books to my kids while we drank some lovely tea,
all courtesy of one of the bestest friends a gal could have!
Thanks, babe!

I won't be the first one to drop a "tea party" reference here. Uh, drat! Sorry Logo, I'm trying to improve. You've got a good friend in Lime.

what a lovely gesture... and i suspect she sent you the gifts because she feels the same way about you as you do of her (in my head this makes sense...and is nice. i mean it to be nice!)

i love tea... and i love your sweet little teapots (short *and* stout...) and it sounds like you had a delightful time with the books and the tea and the kids and the thoughts of how nice it all was to have a friend like Lime! (like the way i jumped over the hump, sprinted past Thursday... and landed here on Friday morning, est?) xox

Minka~ We met in a trivia chatroom a couple years ago, and yes, you are right, everyone needs a friend like Lime!

Sar~ mwah, nice singing, thanks

Kat~ Thanks!

Neva~ Its true I think, Lime does seem reasonably fond of me as well.
We had a great time, and now that you mention the date, maybe I should get around to posting something new.
