The best things in life are free but you can give them to the birds and bees

Alright, the winner of the stonehenge is Mr. Fab with four votes.
Honorable mention to Dorky Dad and Wreckless who tied at three votes.
Congratuations, that was alot of fun.

Alright, so now I have to tell you a story, everyone all comfy? Ok, here we go.
Last week I went to the bookstore to buy Stonehenge (Lionheart Books in Pike Place) and while shopping I chatted a bit with David, the man who works there.
When I checked out he pulled some money over and applied it to my total.
I was puzzled.
He explained a lady had helped him out and given him a card earlier in the day that said, "Random Act of Kindess, pass it on."
So he did.

That was very sweet of him and wouldn't it be so much better if everyone was like that.

I am in desperate need of a trip to the bookstore because I haven't been in eons!

have a good day!

Awwww grats Mr. Fab!!

That's lovely.
Sometimes in the drive-thru @ Tim Horton's I pay for the person behind me or the person in front of me has paid for my coffee... It's a nice gesture... :)

Well played Mr. Fab. It was a hilarious story. I laughed.

That was really nice for that guy to do that. This story shows that there is still some hope for the world. Thanks for sharing that with us.

Congratulations, Mr. Fab; a lovely and endearing story.

Now, Logo, yours is just scary. Where would we all be if we were nice to eachother?

Wow...what a nice thing to do. It almost makes me hate people less.

When you called me last night (while high on crank and Benzedrine) to tell me I had one, I could hardly believe it.

Thanks guys!

Congrats Fab man! Awesome writing indeed. Descriptive, funny, unpredictablbe, and best of all winning!

I am amazed too that more friendliness doesn't catch on.
Great story, it's inspirational.
Thanks Vera for the coffee idea-I'll try it.

Breazy~ Get thee to a bookstore, stat! Yes, it would be a better place, I agree.

Vera~ You Canadians are so polite, I love that about you!

Em~ Yup, I thought so, so I had to share.

Arm~ Yeah, it was pretty funny, and I agree, those stories always make me feel a little more hopeful too.

Lime~ It was very unexpected and sweet, made an already good day even better.

Goldennib~ I know, its a little disconcerting.

Mr. Fab~ Don't give up on the hate, it suits you too well.

Wreckless~ I was fairly inspired myself. By the kindness, just to clarify, Im not going to go around kicking men in the crotch and pouring Mountain Dew on them, or at least not any more than usual.
