By royal degree of her highness The Funky BUG,
Monday is all about me, or her, or you, as the case may be.
Confused? Go see her, she will get your ass straightened out but quick!

From my list of 101 Things About Me
-------------------------
59. I think I DO belong on the bed all the time

Now here is a stroke of genius.

Thing One and Thing Two managed to convince the Alpha Female that despite nearly indiscernable symptoms they really and truly were not well and needed a day off from school.

Being easily duped and excessively permissive she allowed them to not only have a day off from school but made the magic disappearing bed in the living room re-materialize so the lil boogers could lounge around in their jammies watching the History Channel, she claims Modern Marvels is educational.

Here I am taking advantage of their absence to hog not only the bed, but also the blankets, aaah, it is good to be the queen.

(The Things were busy running through the house either playing tag or trying to develop fever symptoms)

Ah, such a shame when the Things pretend to be sick. You can play on their disappearing bed and play with them and get lots of attention. Such a dogs life.

Just make sure you get off the magic disappearing bed before they fold it back up. I know you dog types, you never want to get off the bed or sofa... but what if it's electric/automatic... then what will you do?

I like to hide my milk bones under the pillows and blankets.

Well, if the AF calls off scholl, she gaets a break too!

We had no school here because of snow -- again.

Whenever the Things are done playing, tell the poor suffering buggers I hope they feel better soon.

How can thing one and thing two stay home from school? That's unpossible!

Really Ariella, you are quite sharp to take advantage of the bedding while it is unused!

I love Modern Marvels, and the History Channel in general.

I wish I had a magical disappearing bed to lounge around and watch it on though.

Forget the things...how is the poor suffering AF? I realize it can be quite taxing while the things attempt to develop fevers

It must be catchy... we have a new bed in our living room that doesn't disappear quite so easily. Princess has moved every blanket in the house to the couch, which is now under a home made tent... and when I mention school I can hear forced coughing and a weak voice muttering something about a scratchy throat.
hmmmm

I always let my kids stay home from school any day they wanted too. They grew up fine and all graduated from college. We all need "mental health" days now and again.

my son is too young to figure out that you can fake being sick, wonder how long it will last???? he's 9 now.

MY mommy said I had to go to work... even though I didn't want to...

As soon as I leave my side of the bed in the morning, my dog hops up and takes the pillow. I think he'd appreciate it if I would sleep in the spare room.

Well, fevers are good for Things. They kill the bacteria.

You DO belong on the bed, as do all royal highnesses. Never let anyone tell you differently.

Thanks for playing!
