Tuesday Quiz

OK, so I put together a quiz this week, and the quiz site cooperated with me and everything!!
So here ya go!
Last time I posted a quiz I said,
"No googling, and keep your stick on the ice."
Inquiry was made into the whole ice/stick thing.
It's a hockey term, ask a Canadian or someone from Michigan for detailed info. Basically for ease of explanation, it means roughly the same thing as "keep your eyes on the ball."
Not exactly, as it helps with balance too as well as being ready but you get the idea.
Hockey buffs~ feel free to clarify and enlarge that definition, please.
ANYWAY, I was wishing you well on the quiz!
Have a terrific Tuesday.

Good quiz Logo! Too bad I am not more familiar with poetry but I guess a 30 is better than a 0 ! Have a terrific Tuesday !

Pants~ Here, you can wear the official "This is my very bestest friend" pin for the whole day. I was trying not to be too obscure evidently I could have tried harder.

Breazy~ 30 seems to be the going rate, well done! You are at least average at poetry and spectacular at many other things, well done!

Doug~ 70%!! Well done! I would never want to be cruel to you
(eyelash bat eyelash bat)

Lime~ That was not a bomb, girl, and that is a funny place to become familiar with Red Green.

Bare~ You are always impressive to me.

Now that result shocked me! If not for the courage of the fearless crew in my head, the quiz would be lost.

Well, that and several lucky guesses, I may not know my Milton but I do know the Lorax..met him once..after hours working late in Pioneer Square

I do know my Milton and my Shakespeare. We all know a bit of Ambrose Bierce;) But I have no clue as to who this Nash guy is...
Nontheless, 70% my friends!

Idiot~ 80% from the idiot, not bad at all. Guess all that missing hair has not affected the brain power too much.

Roxi~ Never say that!

Minka~ You are, like, totally awesome! I had to say it, just had to, Nash is incredible though, you have to check him out.

Damasta~ Well, you can always try it later.

Snavy~ not too far off the lead, actually! Guess I won't keep the theme through the month though.

Anyone familiar with Red Green should understand "keep your stick on the ice" :-)

Candace, Red Green is a great ambassador, eh?

That was a really really great quiz, teacher. I love how you challenge us! It's pretty embarrassing, given the line of work I trained to take up, but I'm very unfamiliar with Bierce's poetry and haven't read Nash since high school. I plan on trying harder next week though, teacher! : ]
